Biggie — Larger Than Life
Some people just have a presence — and Biggie was definitely one of them.
I wanted this painting to feel BIG: bold color, personality, confidence, music, and that unmistakable larger-than-life energy.
The Notorious B.I.G. became one of hip-hop’s most iconic voices, known for his incredible storytelling, effortless flow, and ability to turn his experiences into music that continues to influence artists generations later.
But of course, I couldn’t paint Biggie quietly.
I brought him into my world with bright colors, expressive brushstrokes, and a little extra Artistic Nurse energy — celebrating not only the musician, but the personality and cultural icon behind the music.
This piece is for the hip-hop lovers, the ’90s kids, the Biggie fans, and anyone who believes their walls should have a little rhythm, color, and attitude.
Because some legends were never meant to blend into the background.
