Growing up, I loved the bold colors, unforgettable music, and larger-than-life excitement of the ’80s—and few things capture that feeling quite like KITT from Knight Rider.
I wanted this painting to feel like stepping right into that world: KITT racing through a dreamy nighttime landscape, surrounded by electric neon colors, glowing reflections, and that unmistakable red scanner light across the front.
I had so much fun letting the colors go beyond reality—pushing the pinks, purples, blues, and reds to create a scene filled with energy, movement, and pure ’80s nostalgia.
Whether Knight Rider takes you right back to watching KITT and Michael Knight on TV, you’re a car lover, or you simply love colorful artwork with a little unexpected magic, I hope this piece makes you smile every time you walk by.
Special Glow-in-the-Dark Feature
This painting has a fun surprise when the lights go out! Parts of the artwork glow in the dark, especially KITT’s iconic red scanner light and other illuminated details.
I can also include a glow-in-the-dark flashlight with the painting, so you can “charge” the glowing areas with the light and watch them come alive in the dark.
It adds another interactive element to the piece—because KITT shouldn’t completely disappear when the lights go out!
