There is something so extraordinary about the pangolin—gentle, quiet, almost prehistoric, and unlike any other animal in the world.
I created this painting to celebrate the beauty of this incredible animal while also bringing attention to how much it needs our protection. Pangolins are the most heavily trafficked mammals in the world, yet so many people have never even heard of them.
Through vibrant color, texture, and movement, I wanted to give this little creature a presence that couldn't be overlooked—to make you stop, look a little closer, and hopefully fall in love with an animal worth saving.
Art has the ability to make us notice. To make us care. And sometimes, caring is where change begins.
